We all have our own ways of recording an instant - through writing or illustration, snapping or filming. Each instant becomes unique moments due to its geographical settings, structural characteristics, interrelationship with the surroundings, as well as one‘s perception. The captured moments linger in our minds, along with the memories they resemble. We relive the moments as we go through the records in different media, yet our impressions evolve with the passage of time or the change in context.
The showcase features the works of Anthony Lee, with a series of his memory fragments. The collection of mix-media pieces invites visitors to experience his stories through visual, acoustic and tactile sensations.
This event is a part of the Final Project presentation of Curatorship Incubation Programme organized by HART.
我們總有屬於自己的方式，或書寫繪畫、或拍攝錄影，記錄著某人感受、某刻瞬間、某地氛圍。而被記錄的事物，因其獨特的地緣特質、自身結構、乃至與周遭物件環境的相互關係，在我們不同的身心狀態下牽引著，留下或深或淺的回憶。當我們在不同媒介翻開每個記下來的事物，就會有重而新的體驗，宛然亦不然。他們的特性，或許因爲時空的距離，我們記憶中的質感也產生了變化。而一系列富質感的收集輯錄，讓我們在不同的物件當中能找到某些共性，促使著記憶和質感的豐富與昇華。
是次展覽以李珈的混媒體作品，抽取了他的一系列記憶切片。從視、聽、觸，三覺，重塑他對特定事物的感知體驗，訴説屬於他與它們的故事，同時藉此為觀衆締造一個難忘的多感官藝術體驗。
這次活動為HART舉辦的「策展培育計劃」專題研習之一部分。
About the Artist 藝術家介紹
Anthony Lee
Hong Kong-based practicing architectural designer, who also shoots and makes things. Fascinated by nomadic living, he has spent multiple stays in different places, giving him the opportunity to explore various cultures and context. He loves to travel through lenses and snaps, and find commonality in different scenes. He captures and archives the moments through his works, in unique perspectives with his sensitivity to the details in the surroundings.
李珈
建築設計師，於香港生活工作，閒餘涉略於攝影及製作。不同國家地區的旅居經驗，讓他有更多機會發掘當地文化及地緣特質。他喜歡透過鏡頭，在旅程中發掘不同事物的共通性。他對周遭環境細膩的觀察，使他能以獨特的角度，捕捉及記錄當刻的感受。
About the Curator 策展人介紹
Gigi Leung
Educated and trained as a spatial practitioner. Learning and practicing to communicate through the visuals and perception of space. Interested in works that echo or challenge the natural and built environment.
梁穎姿
讀書時期及畢業後專注於空間及建築設計，希望通過視覺及空間構造建立人與事的交流。
