About HART
HART is a non-profit arts organisation dedicated to supporting artists and nurturing Hong Kong's creative community. Founded in 2018, HART has become a vibrant home for artists and creatives, providing them with a much-needed platform to explore, experiment, and develop their practices.
HART's core programme offers artists affordable, dedicated studio space in Hong Kong—a crucial catalyst for creativity and collaboration. Through grants, exhibitions, and residencies, HART also fosters both local and global artistic exchange, strengthening Hong Kong's arts ecosystem and building towards a sustainable, dynamic cultural landscape.
About HART Haus
Our social studio, a two-floor artspace located at Cheung Hing Industrial Building, Kennedy Town with total of over 12,000 square feet space. The space is equipped with a ground floor project space, multi-purposes exhibition and public programme spaces, communal areas, and most importantly, shared and independent artist studios. With HART’s incubation and synergy happening in this industrial building, we worked with around 30 Asian and emerging artists-in-residence each year. HART values hands-on making, collaboration, and knowledge sharing to pave for a stronger and more sustainable local arts and cultural ecosystem in Hong Kong. Social Studio is the arts and creative incubator program at HART Haus, a space and platform for Hong Kong talents to create, experiment, and evolve their art practices in a social setting. Hong Kong-based artists are invited to join through our ‘open’ call, and are provided with studio space, resources for collaboration, and opportunities to integrate their practice with the larger community. We curate regular Showcase and Open Studio to provide a unique experience to present new works of art within their place of creation for the public, celebrating diversity, and quality of works.
