About the Artists

Keisuke Azuma (b. Japan, currently based in Lithuania

Keisuke Azuma is a Japanese artist currently based in Vilnius, Lithuania. A graduate of the University of the Arts London, Azuma's works have been featured in numerous exhibitions and platforms, including at the Royal Academy of Arts, Delphian Gallery, Liliya Gallery, D Contemporary, AucArt and more.

Azuma's artistic practice is centred around perception, channelling raw and profound emotions onto the canvas. Through intuitive and expressive brushstrokes, his works engage viewers on an emotional level, creating a deep connection that resonates with both the body and the mind. Azuma seeks to create art that acts as a mirror, inviting viewers to reflect on their own sense of self and fostering a deeper connection with their inner emotions.

Kelly Kwok is a painter who graduated from the School of Visual Arts at the Hong Kong Baptist University in 2024. As a HART Award recipient in 2024, Kwok will conclude her 9-month residency at HART Haus. Her practice and recurring painting subjects stem from her surroundings, objects, and the people around. She explores the often unnoticed details of daily life, using photography to capture them as references for her paintings. Kwok focuses on still life oil painting. She likes the tranquility these paintings bring and tries to reflect her emotions only through still life. She repeatedly applied thin layers of oil paint to create a sense of ambiguity and uncertainty.

Kwok Wah San graduated from the School of Visual Arts at the Hong Kong Baptist University in 2024. As a HART Award recipient in 2024, Kwok will conclude his 9-month residency at HART Haus. Kwok Wah San is a media and installation artist with a passion for telling fragmentary and continuous stories through photography. In his previous works, Kwok has always tried to take the strange phenomena of society and its feelings as the starting point, using ready-made objects and human behaviors to intervene with them. The medium is not a limitation for Kwok, but rather a source of inspiration and a point of departure for his thinking. Most of his creative ideas come from patterns of behaviors in society and groups, reflecting on the strange connections between the readymade and human behaviors.

Sin U Lam (b. Macau, currently based in UK

Sin U Lam (b.2001) is a London-based artist originally from Macau, she graduated with first-class honours in BA (Hons) Fine Art from Chelsea College of Arts.

Drawing inspiration from Macau's rich tapestry of East-meets-West culture, Sin’s work is deeply influenced by the city's resonant visual language. Her practice evolves to a vibrant, abstract style that explores the tension between structure and spontaneity, reflecting the transient nature of Macau — a place where old and new coexist in a delicate balance. This sense of impermanence is mirrored in the fluidity of Sin’s compositions, where forms emerge and dissolve, capturing the ebb and flow of memory and place.

Sin U Lam

Elsa Ngai graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor of Arts in 2024. She visited Beijing Fine Arts Academy and Tsinghua University for Chinese painting advanced studies. As a HART Award recipient in 2024, Ngai will conclude her 9-month residency at HART Haus. Her graduation work explores the boundary between reality and illusion through the reconfiguration of memory images, constructing an unsettling psychological world beneath a calm exterior. Her works often involve stacking and polishing mineral pigments to blur the sense of time, using intuition and sketches to express the aura of objects. She has been awarded the Friends of the Art Museum Prize, the Madam Jan Yun-bor Memorial Award for Chinese Painting and Calligraphy, and the Professor Raymond Fung Chinese Painting Award.

Daniel Roibal (b. Spain, currently based in UK

Daniel Roibal, born in 2001 in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, is a contemporary artist known for his abstract paintings that invite contemplation and reflection. He earned a BA in Fine Arts from Chelsea College of Arts in 2024 and is currently pursuing an MA in painting at the Royal College of Art in London. Roibal's artistic vision is deeply influenced by his experiences with nature, particularly the Japanese practice of Shinrin Yoku, or forest bathing, which emphasises mindful immersion in natural environments. This connection to nature inspires his work, aiming to evoke a sense of interconnectedness and presence. Roibal's paintings are characterised by their dynamic compositions and thoughtful engagement with the natural world, encouraging viewers to immerse themselves in the present moment.

Notable  exhibitions include "Pilotism: The Millennium Nomads" in Beijing, China (2024) "PANORAMA" at Galería Fran Reus in Palma de Mallorca, Spain (2023), and "Canopy of the Anthropocene" at Hoseo ArtProjects in Seoul, South Korea (2024).

Daniel Roibal

Daniel參與的展覽包括2024年於中國北京舉辦的《Pilotism: The Millennium Nomads》,2023年於西班牙帕爾馬的Galería Fran Reus舉辦的《PANORAMA》,以及2024年於韓國首爾的Hoseo ArtProjects舉辦的《Canopy of the Anthropocene》。

About 關於 r é n
r é n started in February 2023 with the primary goal of creating positive change through food and community engagement. Our work is built on three pillars, HUMANITY, GOODNESS and FOOD.

  • HUMANITY stands for our youth programmes, where we have continued to support disadvantaged youth.

  • GOODNESS stands for “feel-good” activities that we provide to promote wellness and enjoyment for youths we support.

  • FOOD is what we call activations that are centered around food and lifestyle. We create campaigns that not only drive revenue for our social enterprise, but most importantly drive awareness towards the problems faced by the beneficiaries as a population.
