(詳細介紹請參閱英文版本)
Join us for a mini showcase of imagery through the lens of JJM for a journey without prejudice, and allow our minds to wander and experience the works of a woman, who is passionate about how light, shadow and time work in relation to people, culture, architecture and nature. A connection is made between the artist and her camera, where she leaves behind her many identities and titles to submerge in photography that tells stories. A plain and simple objective that brings perfect coincidences to her lens words cannot express.

About the Artist 藝術家介紹
JJM aka Kathleen Lee 李潔蓮
Lee started photography since 2014. Her unprecedented passion for the arts may have come late, it did not take her long to discover her talent and sharpen her photography skills through practice and training. Among a few of her mentors, Lee is a proud student of Qianli Zhang, an author and award winning signatory photographer for Getty Images and National Geographic Traveler Magazine.
Raised in Hong Kong and relocated to Shanghai since 1998, Lee travels across the world from time to time with her camera(s) at all times. She began with landscape but later grew an interest in street snapping at random subjects, especially those involving motion from living beings, which is unlikely to re-enact for the second time. The new artist is not just a photographer but also a watercolour painter, a gardener, a pet lover, a cook, a storyteller, an explorer, an entrepreneur, an accountant, a self-taught pharmacist, a global citizen, an atheist, a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother and most of all—a woman today.
About the Curator 策展人介紹
Jax Tong 湯之傑
Tong started as a designer of environmental graphics and space for hospitality, later ventured into the arts with appreciation for aesthetics, storytelling and curatorial practice. With background in Visual Communication and Studio Art, he earned his Master of Business Administration at The University of Hong Kong but realised his passion has always been with the creative industries. As a lifelong learner and an educator, Tong understands the importance of continuously revitalising the mind by absorbing new knowledge on a regular basis. He believes nurturing creatives of the future can be as easy as simple observation. “We learn by perceiving new information; by observing something old close enough, you learn something new.”
