Engagement to the Docentship means your dedication to the ongoing learning and exploration on how art challenges and enriches us; your commitment to the guided tour design, curation and practices; and your aspirations in the mutual growth progressing with the experience exchanged - among us, the visitors and even with our Hausians and the art community as a whole.

Aligning expectations is the first step to attaining our common goals…

You will 

  • be entitled (and contributing by enthusiastic engagement) to a minimum of 3 - 5 hours training

  • be earning experience and feedback on leading guided tours on a practical basis with travel expenses reimbursement in the programmes of HART in the last quarter of 2020

  • be exposed to and connected with artist communities 

  • be having a debriefing session forming the docentship experience sharing network

  • be exchanging experience with us in taste building, interpretation and art education

  • be exchanging skills and ideas on exhibition venue operation and event management

This will not only be a journey to audience building for art and cultural events, but also an experience to engage in our community building process! Exhibition "Household Gods"
September 2020 - November 2020 

Held at HART Hall at Central Queen’s Road, “Household Gods” is the first exhibition resulting from HART Haus Social Studio, a programme inviting Hong Kong based creative talents specialising in the arts to explore, discover and experiment within their artistic practice in a provided studio space at Kennedy Town.

HART Social Studio Showcase
Late 2020

Riding on the big success in the Hausian Showcase in May 2020, HART is bringing back the Social Studio Showcase for the creative talents of the current edition of HART Haus Social Studio. It is a unique experience for the general public to visit the studio where the masterminds work, as well as appreciate works from some of our most talented artists from our current session.
