Submit Proposals to HART Editions

  • Proposals submitted will be considered as priority for display, each exhibition period will be 1 to 2 months. Selected candidates will be contacted by HART to confirm the display dates and duration accordingly, proposals are welcome to indicate preferred dates;

  • The proposal shall include not more than 10 works that demonstrate the artist/maker’s practice, preferably to be new and recent works;

  • For curators, the proposal shall include works by multiple artists/makers. Once your proposal is accepted by HART, you shall be responsible to seek prior exhibition consent from them;

  • For artists and makers, you are welcome to propose a few works. Final decision will be made by HART for the display with others’ works;

  • Work(s) requirement

    • Your proposal may include the arrangements of works for display. The current layout and wall dimensions are indicated in the image on top of this page;

    • For works on paper, the maximum size is 42 x 59 cm; for sculptures and objects, the maximum size is 29.7 x 42 x 42 (D) cm;

    • HART Editions encourages multidisciplinary works, including editioned works and prints, sculptures, art toys, or objects across mediums; Works shall meet with the display requirement would fit in the setup and the size requirement above;

    • Works on paper shall be framed; all works shall be in good conditions for display.

    • Name of applicant(s) and contact information;

    • Are you representing any organisation/ initiative/ collective?

    • Brief description of your proposal;

    • Number of works to be proposed;

    • Dimensions of the works (L x W x H);

    • Suggested price list;

    • Preferred duration for display;

    • Your resume and brief descriptions of artists/makers to be proposed together;

    • Documents shall be submitted in PDF format.

  • Proposals that are not selected in this round shall be considered for future arrangements upon your resubmission, if you have any comments please let our team know at your earliest convenience;

  • HART reserves the rights to make final decisions on the selection of works and the layout, installation will proceed upon agreement of the applicant;

  • By submitting your proposals to HART Editions, you agree to the terms below:

    • HART Editions does not perform any resale of artworks. A Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist/maker will be issued by HART upon purchase of the work;

    • Editioned works are preferred, each should be numbered and signed by the artist;

    • Works on paper shall be framed;

    • Photos and videos of the displayed works will be prepared by HART and published on HART’s online platforms and printed matter for promotional purpose(s);

    • The price for each work shall be within HKD30,000;

    • The works will be dismantled right after the display period, please arrange your collection of the works. HART will provide storage upon the agreed storage fee and subject to our availability. If you experience any issues with dismantling, a prior notice of 14 working days shall be given to HART in written format;

    • HART reserves the rights to make final decisions on the selection of works and the layout, installation will proceed upon agreement of the applicant;. 

    • In case of any dispute the English version of this T&C shall prevail.
